Philip Do

Philip Do

Philip currently studies Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at UCLA where he is the Avionics Software Lead for Rocket Project and Webmaster for the Engineering Society at UCLA.

  • Sports: Skateboarding, Weightlifting, and Taekwondo
  • Hobbies: Watching sunsets and reading the Percy Jackson series

Philip did software research and development on a model-based systems engineering platform as an intern at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) this summer. Next summer, he will be in Seattle as a Cyber Intern for Risk and Financial Advisory at Deloitte. He has also previously worked at Northrop Grumman and The Boeing Company.

Adelpha Chan

Adelpha Chan

Adelpha is a fourth-year Linguistics and Computer Science major with minors in Digital Humanities and Cognitive Science.

  • Hobbies: Baking, Hiking, Exploring new cafes and bakeries

Adelpha is passionate about the applicability and reach of the field of software development and hopes to pursue a role in the development of customer-facing products. This past summer, she worked as a software engineering intern at Meta where she contributed to the implementation of a redesign of the company’s payments platform.

Katrina Chiu

Katrina Chiu

Katrina is currently studying Psychology at UCLA where she is interning as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Northridge to take care of patients with spinal injuries and posture problems.

  • Hobbies: Visiting the beaches, hitting the gym, and stargazing

Katrina is passionate about doing research along with working with patients. In the first half year of 2022, she was a research assistant for the DAWN study where they looked for solutions to improve the quality of life for Asian patients that have stage 4 cancer. Next quarter, she will be assisting with a project about the benefits of playing action video games on vision.
